Animal Encounters with Roger Williams Zoo

Have your kids meet, learn and get to know animals and creatures from around the world.
Please note: for the safety of the animals, pre-registration is REQUIRED for this event. Please purchase 1 ticket per child. A grown-up must stay with children at all times.
Join educators from the Roger Williams Park Zoo at Garden City Center to learn more about the wild world of animals. Programs will offer opportunities for adult/child pairs to make discoveries together and will include a lesson, activity, and a meet and greet with one of Roger Williams Zoo ambassador animals.
Sessions are hosted at the Garden City Center Gazebo and are 45 minutes long.
1 ticket includes admission for one child and their parent or guardian. Spots are limited and registration is required.
Please note:
1. Outdoor programs are weather dependent. If the feels like temperature is not between 65-85 degrees, we will work with you to reschedule the programs or provide a refund.
2. The Zoo is not a peanut free facility. Some of the animals we work with have peanuts and or peanut butter as part of their diets. To prevent exposure, please let us know ahead of time if you are a peanut free school or classroom, so that we can plan animal visitors accordingly
