Heart to Art: A reception for Ohanga Garden City Artists

We are excited to invite you to our Heart to Art: A Reception for Ohanga Garden City Artists at 51 Hillside Rd Unit 9004, Cranston, RI 02920 at 5 pm on Thursday, October 21st. On that special evening, you will be greeted by Ohanga artists, who will accompany you through their creative process as you discover their artwork throughout the store— products from Home & Living, Kitchen & Dining, Jewelry & Fashion Accessories, Upcycled Apparel, and Visual & Fine Arts.

Ohanga, meaning nest in the ancient Māori language, is a Rhode Island startup passionately reconnecting communities with their local creative economy by building a home for local makers that amplifies their stories, elevates their artwork, and gives them the tools to succeed as small businesses. We’re proud to nest with over one hundred and fifty artists on our platform, thirty of which have been handpicked to showcase their work at Ohanga Garden City Center. Just like Farm to Table, we deliver products from their hearts, hands, and homes straight into yours.

Heart to art is a special opportunity to meet the creative individuals whose brilliant work opens hearts, inspires minds, and shapes the human soul. The evening will start with a ribbon cutting ceremony led by the one and only Cranston Mayor Ken Hopkins at 5 pm. Aperitifs and wine will be served starting at 6 pm to chaperon your senses as you explore art and artisanal products, until 8 pm. There is no dress code, but we encourage semi-formal attire so that we might all feel a little extra special.
