Pints with Purpose for Special Olympics Rhode Island
Sat, October 5 | 2 PM - 6 PM
Mark your calendar for a heartwarming day of celebration, good vibes, and community spirit at the special Tip-A-Cop event, where your pints truly have a purpose! Come together with Special Olympics Rhode Island, Garden City Center, Avvio Ristorante, the Cranston Police Department, and law enforcement from across the state to celebrate 40 years of the Law Enforcement Torch Run. It’s all about raising funds and awareness for the incredible athletes of Special Olympics Rhode Island!
Join us at the Garden City Center Gazebo for this laid-back, family-friendly event has everything you need for a great day out: live music, free parking, and free admission.
What’s on Tap:
- Drinks & Eats: Sip on local brews and dig into delicious bites from a special Tip-A-Cop menu, served up with a smile by local law enforcement.
- Live Music & Mingling: Enjoy the soulful sounds of Alexus Lee, meet local officers, and connect with Special Olympics Rhode Island athletes who inspire us all.
How It Works:
- Grab a Spot at the Beer Garden by the Gazebo, where you can enjoy drinks and order food from a select menu.
- Drinks: Tip officers when you grab a drink, knowing your generosity makes a difference!
- Food: Place your food order with an officer, and they’ll deliver it right to your table in the Beer Garden. A $10 delivery fee applies, and you can add a tip if you’d like.
Every tip and a portion of beer sales go directly to support Special Olympics Rhode Island, helping to keep life-changing sports and inclusion programs free for athletes and their families. So come on out, raise a glass, and let’s make a difference together! Cheers to 40 years of support and community!
